Healing Philosophy

I believe bodywork is a respectful
partnership between client and therapist. I don’t see myself as a healer, but rather an assistant and facilitator of your own healing process.

My goal is to work with the body, not on it. I listen with my hands, and follow where your body leads. I find this approach much more effective, as it gives your body the chance to welcome the therapy, instead of fighting it.

Although some techniques require deep pressure, bodywork doesn’t need to be painful to be effective. By tuning in, listening, and applying the right techniques in the right order, I strive to create an experience that is relaxing and profoundly therapeutic at the same time.

I believe that we are all searching for balance in our lives. Whether it’s finding the energy to get through our day with ease, or physically living without pain or discomfort, massage therapy can help restore that balance. I treat each person as an individual, listen to their goals and expectations, and create a session to fit the client. I strive to make each experience unique by combining different massage and bodywork techniques.
